Inspect. - Continued (See Figure 5-1.)

Inspect main power cable assembly for general condition of insert, barrel, cable adapter, and
protective cap.
(3)
Inspect metal parts of main power cable assembly for corrosion.
b.
Repair. (See Figure 5-1.)
(1)
Loosen the connection on the main power cable assembly between the female barrel (1) and cable
adapter (2) and separate unit.
(2)
Separate the female barrel (1) and female insert (3) on the main power cable assembly.
(3)
Install female barrel (1) and female insert (3) of the main power cable assembly in the threaded portion
of the cable adapter (2) and tighten.
