Unscrew adapter and nozzle from the cylinder and discard the used cylinder.

Installation. Install fire extinguisher as follows:
(1)
Lubricate threads on replacement cylinder with one drop of lubricating oil (Item 16, App. D) and install
adapter and nozzle assembly on cylinder.
(2)
Position fire extinguisher in the fire extinguisher mounting bracket and lock the quick release lever.
