SHELTER SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS
1. NO ELECTRICAL POWER TO SHELTER SYSTEM
Step 1. Inspect to me that the generator is operating properly.
Start the generator set in accordance with the applicable Department of the Army Technical
Manual.
Step 2. Check that main power cable is correctly connected at main power receptacle.
WARNING
Do not perform any electrical maintenance or make any electrical connection or disconnection at
the main power receptacle while the generator set engine is running.
Connect the primary power cable to the input power receptacle located near the door of the
shelter.
The cable connector and the receptacles are keyed to ensure proper connection.
Step 3. Check to see if the main power cable leads are properly connected at generator.
The leads of the power cable are color coded as follows:
Phase A - black - Pin 1
Phase B - red - Pin 2
Phase C - green (marked with blue band) - Pin 3
Neutral - white - Pin 4
Step 4. Inspect to see if main breaker is in the on position
Position applicable circuit breaker to on.
2. NO ELECTRICAL POWER AT EQUIPMENT RECEPTACLES
Inspect to see if main circuit breaker is in the on position.
Position applicable circuit breaker to on.
3. DUPLICATING MACHINE NOT PRODUCING GOOD COPY
Check for incorrect impression-to-blanket cylinders adjustment.
Adjust cylinder pressure in accordance with commercial manual instructions.
