4-61. Equipment Receptacles.
NOTE
Inspection and repair procedures
are identical for all equipment
receptacles.
a.
Inspection. Inspect the equipment receptacles
for secure mounting, broken or cracked body, and
proper cover installation. If necessary, repair defective
units by replacing receptacle.
b.
Removal. Remove equipment receptacle as
follows:
(1)
Position

circuit breaker to off.
(2)
Remove screws that attach receptacle
cover to conduit. (See figure 4-35.)

Pull receptacle from conduit . g and
disconnect wires, and remove receptacle.
c.
Installation. Install equipment receptacles as
follows:
(1)
Connect wires to receptacle and position
receptacle in conduit.
(2)
Position receptacle cover and secure with
screws.
