(1)
Remove self-tapping screws (1) along top of vent assembly hinge (2).
(2)
Using a flat-tip screwdriver, carefully pry vent assembly away from AC housing front wall (3).
(3)
Align replacement vent assembly hinge (2) along hinge line and secure in place with five self-tapping
screws (1).
e. Repair by replacing front wall vent assembly door latch. (Figure 4-13.)

Using an electric drill, drill out rivets (5) in latch and remove latch (4).
(2)
Install replacement latch (4) using blind riveter and pop rivets(5).
