TM 5-3610-294-13&P 4-17. AIR CONDITIONER HOUSING ASSEMBLY. - Continued a. Repair by replacing housing sidewall vent assembly. (See figure 4-11.) (1) Remove five self-tapping screws (1) along top of hinge (2). (2) Using a flat-tip screwdriver, carefully pry vent assembly away from AC housing sidewall (3). (3) Align replacement vent assembly hinge (2) along hinge line and secure in place with five self-tapping screws (1). b. Repair by replacing sidewall vent assembly door latch (4). (See figure 4-11.) (1) Using an electric drill, drill out rivets (5) in latch (4) and remove latch (4). (2) Install replacement latch (4) using blind riveter and pop rivets. Figure 4-11. Sidewall Vent Assembly 4-37
