DIRECT AND GENERAL SUPPORT MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Section I. REPAIR PARTS, SPECIAL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
5-1. Special Tools and Equipment
No special tools or equipment are required by direct and general support maintenance personnel for the maintenance
of the press shelter.
5-2. Maintenance Repair Parts
Repair parts and equipment are listed and illustrated in the repair parts and special tools list covering direct and
general support maintenance in TM 10-3610-203-34P. Repair parts required for maintenance of the various items of
equipment which form a part of the shelter system are defined in the applicable publication supplied with each unit.
5-3. Fabricated Tools and Equipment
No fabrication of special tools and equipment is necessary for maintenance of the press shelter.
Section II. TROUBLESHOOTING
5-4. General
a.
This section contains troubleshooting information for locating and correcting most of the operating troubles which
may develop in the press unit of the special warfare printing plant. Each malfunction for an individual component, unit or
system is followed by a list of tests or inspections which will help you to determine corrective actions to take. You should
perform the tests/inspections and corrective actions in the order listed.

This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective actions. If a
malfunction is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.

Refer to table 5-1 for troubleshooting information and procedures applicable to the press shelter system and
components.
